In my previous post on Epstein I ended on a question: who facilitated and funded Epstein’s rapid rise from high school calculus teacher to billionaire hedge-fund manager for the ultra wealthy?
It seems likely there was some elite person or group that Epstein was doing his blackmailing on behalf of. Certainly Epstein himself benefitted from his blackmailing schemes to the tune of billions of dollars and access to the most powerful people in the world, but it’s hard to believe that was all there was to it.
During his vetting interviews for Labor Secretary with the Trump Transition team in early 2017, Alex Acosta was asked about the Epstein case from 2008 and this was his answer on why he let Epstein off with such a light punishment:
“Is the Epstein case going to cause a problem [for confirmation hearings]?” Acosta had been asked. Acosta had explained, breezily, apparently, that back in the day he’d had just one meeting on the Epstein case. He’d cut the non-prosecution deal with one of Epstein’s attorneys because he had “been told” to back off, that Epstein was above his pay grade. “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone,” he told his interviewers in the Trump transition, who evidently thought that was a sufficient answer and went ahead and hired Acosta.
Very powerful people intervened in the 2008 Epstein case to make sure he was let off with minimal punishment.
So the question is, who were/are those very powerful people?
Ann Coulter thinks Epstein was state-sponsored, meaning working on behalf of a foreign government:
“Epstein according to both the girls accounts, he wanted them to have sex with powerful men, come back to him and report on it, describe what they wanted what their fetishes were and he had cameras throughout the house so this is obviously for blackmailing purposes,” said Coulter.
“It just seems to me something much bigger is behind this — perhaps a state sponsor — powerful enough people … it just seems to me there’s something a very powerful force behind what’s going on here and I am still nervous about this not coming to a conclusion, somehow this getting compromised,” she added.
It makes sense. One doesn’t just mysteriously become an untouchable billionaire like Epstein without government support or at least permission.
So which state was sponsoring Epstein?
There are strong indications that he might have been connected to Israeli intelligence, the Mossad. The possible Epstein-Mossad connection centers on Epstein’s former girlfriend and later procurer of young girls, Ghislaine Maxwell. Ghislaine Maxwell’s father was Robert Maxwell, a British media magnate and former Member of Parliament who died under mysterious circumstances in 1991:
“Ian Robert Maxwell (10 June 1923 – 5 November 1991), born Ján Ludvík Hyman Binyamin Hoch, was a British media proprietor and Member of Parliament (MP). Originally from Czechoslovakia, Maxwell rose from poverty to build an extensive publishing empire. After his death, huge discrepancies in his companies’ finances were revealed, including his fraudulent misappropriation of the Mirror Group pension fund.
Early in his life, Maxwell escaped from Nazi occupation, joined the Czechoslovak Army in exile in World War II and was decorated after active service in the British Army. In subsequent years he worked in publishing, building up Pergamon Press to a major publishing house. After six years as an MP during the 1960s, he again put all his energy into business, successively buying the British Printing Corporation, Mirror Group Newspapers and Macmillan Publishers, among other publishing companies.
Maxwell had a flamboyant lifestyle, living in Headington Hill Hall in Oxford, from which he often flew in his helicopter, and sailing in his luxury yacht, the Lady Ghislaine. He was notably litigious and often embroiled in controversy, including about his support for Israel at the time of the 1948 Palestine war. In 1989, he had to sell successful businesses, including Pergamon Press, to cover some of his debts. In 1991, his body was discovered floating in the Atlantic Ocean, having fallen overboard from his yacht. He was buried in Jerusalem.”
He fell overboard? Come on.
“On 5 November 1991, Maxwell was last in contact with the crew of his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine, at 4:25 a.m. local time, but was found to be missing later in the morning. Maxwell was presumed to have fallen overboard from the vessel, which was cruising off the Canary Islands, and his naked body was subsequently recovered from the Atlantic Ocean. The official ruling at an inquest held in December 1991 was death by a heart attack combined with accidental drowning, although three pathologists had been unable to agree on the cause of his death at the inquest; he had been found to have been suffering from serious heart and lung conditions. Murder was ruled out by the judge and, in effect, so was suicide. He was buried on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.”
This is quite difficult to believe. He had a heart attack and then fell overboard?
And why was he buried on sacred ground in Jerusalem? He must have had a special connection to Israel:
“A hint of Maxwell’s service to the Israeli state was provided by John Loftus and Mark Aarons, who described Maxwell’s contacts with Czechoslovak anti-Stalinist Communist leaders in 1948 as crucial to the Czechoslovak decision to arm Israel in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Czechoslovak military assistance was both unique and crucial for the fledgling state as it battled for its existence. It was Maxwell’s covert help in smuggling aircraft parts into Israel that led to the country having air supremacy during their 1948 War of Independence.”
More on the Mossad angle, which came from none other than Seymour Hersh, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the New Yorker:
“Shortly before Maxwell’s death, a former employee of Israel’s Military Intelligence Directorate, Ari Ben-Menashe, approached a number of news organisations in Britain and the U.S. with the allegation that Maxwell and the Daily Mirror‘s foreign editor, Nicholas Davies, were both long-time agents for Mossad. Ben-Menashe also claimed that in 1986, Maxwell had told the Israeli Embassy in London that Mordechai Vanunu had given information about Israel’s nuclear capability to The Sunday Times, then to the Daily Mirror. Vanunu was subsequently kidnapped by Mossad and smuggled to Israel, convicted of treason and imprisoned for eighteen years.
I’m sure Maxwell’s mysterious death had nothing to do with this at all.
“Ben-Menashe’s story was ignored at first, but eventually The New Yorker journalist Seymour Hersh repeated some of the allegations during a press conference in Londonheld to publicise “The Samson Option,” Hersh’s book about Israel’s nuclear weapons. On 21 October 1991, two MPs, Labour’s George Galloway and the Conservative Rupert Allason (also known as espionage author Nigel West), agreed to raise the issue in the House of Commons under Parliamentary Privilege protection, which in turn allowed British newspapers to report events without fear of libel suits. Maxwell called the claims “ludicrous, a total invention” and sacked Davies. A year later, in Galloway’s libel settlement against Mirror Group Newspapers (in which he received “substantial” damages), Galloway’s counsel announced that the MP accepted that the group’s staff had not been involved in Vanunu’s abduction. Galloway himself, however, referred to Maxwell as “one of the worst criminals of the century.”
This is all very complicated and hard to follow stuff, but the bottom line is that Robert Maxwell was involved with the Mossad. He was, after all, buried in Jerusalem following his death despite being a naturalized British citizen.
So the connection from Epstein to Robert Maxwell is through Maxwell’s daugher Ghislaine. Ghislaine believes her father was murdered:
“Her father named his luxury yacht, the Lady Ghislaine in her honour, and it was near the yacht in the Canary Islands in 1991 that his body was found floating in the sea. Though a verdict of death by accidental drowning was recorded, Maxwell has since stated that she believes her father was murdered, commenting in 1997 that “He did not commit suicide. That was just not consistent with his character. I think he was murdered.” After his death, Robert Maxwell was found to have fraudulently appropriated the pension assets of his Mirror Group Newspapers to support its share price and was disgraced.
Maxwell moved to the United States after her father’s death, and has since become a prominent socialite in New York City.”
British Authors Gordon Thomas and Martin Dillion agree with Ghislaine that her father was murdered. The two wrote a book in 2003 called “The Assassination of Robert Maxwell: Israel’s Superspy.” In the book, they essentially argue that Maxwell was indeed an Israeli agent who eventually had a falling-out with the Mossad (over Maxwell’s attempts to blackmail the Mossad for money to prop up his crumbling media empire), which resulted in him being murdered by Mossad agents on his yacht in late 1991.
The Epstein connection:
“After moving to America, Maxwell and the billionaire American financier Jeffrey Epstein had a romantic relationship, and Maxwell remained close to him after their break-up. Maxwell has attracted press coverage for her friendship with Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the second son of Queen Elizabeth II, who attended social functions with her in New York. Maxwell introduced Epstein to Prince Andrew and the three often socialized together. She and her partner, Jeffrey Epstein are also close friends of Bill Clinton, who flew over 26 times on Epstein’s private jet, referred to as the Lolita Express.
In 2008, Epstein was convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution and served 13 months of an 18-month jail sentence. Details of a civil lawsuit made public in January 2015 contained a deposition from a woman, identified as ‘Jane Doe 3’, accusing Maxwell of having recruited her in 1999, when she was a minor, to have sex with Epstein. A 2018 expose by the Miami Herald revealed Jane Doe 3 to be Virginia Roberts, who in 1999 was Virginia Giuffre. Roberts asserted that she was introduced by Maxwell to Epstein and then “groomed by the two for his pleasure, including lessons in Epstein’s preferences during oral sex.”
Maxwell has repeatedly denied any involvement in Epstein’s crimes. In a 2015 statement, Maxwell rejected allegations that she has acted as a “madame for Epstein” and “facilitated Prince Andrew’s acts of sexual abuse.” Maxwell’s spokesperson said that “the allegations made against Ghislaine Maxwell are untrue” and that she “strongly denies allegations of an unsavoury nature, which have appeared in the British press and elsewhere and reserves her right to seek redress at the repetition of such old defamatory claims.”
According to the Miami Herald, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, one of Epstein’s victims, sued Maxwell in federal court in the Southern District of New York in 2015. Giuffre asserted that Maxwell and Epstein trafficked her and other underage girls, often at sex parties that Epstein hosted at his homes in New York, New Mexico, Palm Beach, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Maxwell called her a liar. Giuffre sued for defamation. While details of the settlement were not made public, the case was settled in Giuffre’s favour, with Maxwell paying Giuffre “millions.”
On 16 April 2019, a new accuser, Maria Farmer, went public and filed a sworn affidavit in federal court in New York, saying that she was sexually assaulted and her then-15-year-old sister was molested by Epstein and his companion, Ghislaine Maxwell, in 1996.”
Ghislaine Maxwell is the possible Mossad link to Epstein, via her late father Robert who was likely a Mossad agent.
This gives a whole new perspective to Alex Acosta’s remark that Epstein “belonged to intelligence.”
Whose intelligence? Our’s our Israel’s?
