New Site Name: The Palace Intrigue

I changed the name of the site from “Today in Politics” to “The Palace Intrigue.” I felt like it was a more interesting name that fit more with what I write about.

The name “Palace Intrigue” evokes images of the secret machinations of the elite and the ruling class, conspiracies, plots, maneuvering, etc.

Also, I just got bored of the name “Today in Politics.” It started to feel bland and generic to me. It’s not that I think it’s a bad name, I just like this new name better.

So I’ll test it out and see how I like it.

I welcome your feedback as well: do you like the new name? Do you dislike it? Should I go back to the old name?

I’ve been thinking about making this name change for a while and now that I finally did it I feel good about it.

The old URL “tipolitics.com” still works, as does “palaceintrigueblog.com” which is the new site name.

  1. Considering the fact that what used to be politics has been reduced to a very bizarre soap opera, I like it, Austin.
