Two Months After Voting to Abolish the Police, Minneapolis City Council Complains The Police Aren’t around

Who could’ve seen this coming?

I think I might know:

These Democrats are indistinguishable from bratty children. “I don’t want to eat vegetables! I want to eat cookies and ice cream all the time!” Then they complain when they get sick.

You do not give in to bratty children. You tell them “no” and put them in their place until they get the picture.

From what I can tell from the top article, it appears as if the police are deliberately letting the city burn to show these ungrateful brats what life is like without the police:

The meeting was slated as a Minneapolis City Council study session on police reform.

But for much of the two-hour meeting, council members told police Chief Medaria Arradondo that their constituents are seeing and hearing street racing which sometimes results in crashes, brazen daylight carjackings, robberies, assaults and shootings. And they asked Arradondo what the department is doing about it.

“Residents are asking, ‘Where are the police’?” said Jamal Osman, newly elected council member of Ward 6.  He said he’s already been inundated with complaints from residents that calls for police aren’t being answered.

“That is the only public safety option they have at the moment. MPD. They rely on MPD. And they are saying they are nowhere to be seen,” Osman said.

Gee, I wonder why.

Just months after leading an effort that would have defunded the police department, City Council members at Tuesday’s work session pushed chief Medaria Arradondo to tell them how the department is responding to the violence.

The number of reported violent crimes, like assaults, robberies and homicides are up compared to 2019, according to MPD crime data. More people have been killed in the city in the first nine months of 2020 than were slain in all of last year. Property crimes, like burglaries and auto thefts, are also up. Incidents of arson have increased 55 percent over the total at this point in 2019.

Actions have consequences. Maybe the politicians of Minneapolis shouldn’t have bowed to the mob and launched an assault on the police force.

Maybe they shouldn’t have simply gone along with the BLM narrative in the wake of the George Floyd incident that it was a “systemic” problem rather than a sporadic one.

Democratic politicians in big cities think they can slander the police force to score woke points with their insane voting bases, then turn around to the cops and say, “Nothing personal.” These Democrats are extremely sociopathic and narcissistic if they believe they can do this.

It doesn’t work that way. Turns out people don’t like to be treated like shit by idiot politicians looking to pander to the radical fringe.

These politicians apparently don’t know that it’s more sensible to side with the police rather than the violent mobs. Guess they’re gonna learn the hard way.

Biden Tries to Reverse Declining Latino Support by Playing “Despacito” from His Phone

No, the Biden campaign isn’t worried about its flagging support with Latinos, why do you ask?

Now apparently the guy who sings the song had introduced Biden at the campaign “rally” or event or whatever you call it (I’m sure it was sparsely attended).

At first I thought Biden just randomly started playing the song from his phone because someone in his campaign told him it would make Latinos support him more.

It’s not as bad if the guy who made the song was there at the event with him.

But it’s still pretty pathetic. It might be worse than when Hillary ridiculously said she carries a bottle of hot sauce around in her purse in a cringe-inducing attempt to appeal to black voters. I’m not sure. The hot sauce line was really bad.

As usual, Democrats continue to practice subtle, patronizing racism, believing all it takes to win over minority voters is to make occasional clumsy nods to “their culture” and letting the media take it from there (mainly by slandering the Republican candidate as a racist).

You Latinos like this song, dontcha? Well ol’ Tio Jose likes this song, too. Vote for me.”

The worst part is that when Democrats do this type of thing, minority voters usually reward them for it.

But this year, I’m not so sure. What Biden did right there is an act of desperation.

Trump Brokers Historic Middle East Peace Deal, CNN Complains About Crowd Size & Lack of Social Distancing

Today at the White House, President Trump brought together the leaders of Israel, Bahrain and the UAE to sign a major peace deal for the Middle East, which will normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and each of the two Gulf states.

This is, as Joe Biden would say, “a big f*ckin’ deal,” because it is a step closer to peace in the region–well, at least between Israel and its neighbors. The ultimate endgame, I believe, is to get the Saudis to follow suit and establish relations with Israel, because the UAE would not have done this without Saudi approval. This would officially cement an Arab-Israeli alliance against Iran.

It’s not every day you see Arab nations recognizing Israel. They are not exactly fond of one another. It has only happened twice before–with Egypt in 1979 and with Jordan in 1994.

And this is how CNN described the scene at the White House:

It was a “White House Event” with a “large crowd” and “little social distancing.”

Shhh. Nobody tell CNN about BLM’s “large crowds” with “little social distancing.”

The Reason it’s So Hard for Trump to Drain THe Swamp

The swamp does not wish to be drained. It actively resists being drained. It will not go down without a fight–an ugly, drawn-out fight.

Remember last week when Trump issued an executive order to end the use of “critical race theory” in government employee training programs? Well, the CDC saw that executive order and said, “Nah, we’re good. #OrangeManBad.”

This is from Christopher Rufo, the guy who (most likely) brought the issue of critical race theory to Trump’s attention when he went on Tucker Carlson’s show:

People who are upset by Trump not living up to all of his promises from the 2016 campaign: are you at least willing to admit it might not be as simple as “Trump betrayed us”?

The man is facing widespread and blatant insubordination and disobedience in the ranks. He has been for the past four years. He’s going against most of Congress, as well as most of the executive branch–in addition to the media and the entertainment industry.

He issued his critical race theory executive order, and an agency in the executive branch basically said, “Nah, screw that. We’re gonna still teach our employees to hate white people.”

Anyone who thought the war was won on November 8, 2016 was delusional. Trump winning the election was the start of the war against the Beltway Swamp. It remains ongoing and will continue for a long, long time.

The corruption runs deep in Washington. Very deep.

***

Now, luckily Rufo stayed vigilant and brought this to the attention of OMB Director Russ Vought who promptly shut down all the CDC’s skullduggery:

But don’t think this will make the Swamp give up. They will never stop trying to undermine, backstab and destroy this President. They believe with all their hearts that they are and should rightfully be completely and totally unaccountable to the will of the voters. They think they’re smarter, better and entitled to rule over us with unfettered and unchecked power. And nothing will change their minds. They have to be rooted out and sent packing–every last one of them.

Joe Biden Thinks It’s 2012 and Obama is Running for Re-election

Seriously:

“Obama-Biden administration rescued the auto industry, and helped them retool. We made solar energy cost-competitive with traditional energy and weatherized more than a million homes. This is just the beginning if we get re-elected.”

There is no good excuse or explanation for this. Joe Biden is literally senile. It’s not a conspiracy or a stretch or a mischaractetization. It cannot be denied any more. He thinks it’s 2012, he thinks Obama is still President, and he thinks the two of them are running for re-election.

What they’re doing to this man is cruel.

Director Judd Apatow: Hollywood Censoring Movies to Appease China

We all knew this intuitively, but now we have a major Hollywood Director coming out and confirming it:

All the big movie studios are in thrall to China. This chart is from 2015 but it shows that even five years ago, China was gaining rapidly on the US in terms of where Hollywood makes its money. I’m sure now in 2020 China is even closer to the US in terms of box office dollars:

Hollywood knows where their bread is buttered. As recently as 2007, China represented a negligible share of Hollywood’s box office dollars, and so there really wasn’t a great need to pander to China. But over the past decade, China has become Hollywood’s golden goose. And so Hollywood, like every other multinational business, has sold its soul to China.

And by the way, the major Hollywood movie studios also own cable news, meaning cable news is bowing to China as well: Disney owns ABC, Time Warner owns CNN, NBC and MSNBC are owned by Universal (which in turn is under Comcast), while CBS and Paramount are both owned by Viacom. If the movie studios are doing this, you can bet the cable news networks are doing it in their own way, too.

Fox sold its movie division (20th Century Fox) to Disney earlier this year, which in theory should mean Fox News is not as compromised as the other news channels are. But I’m sure China has its hooks in Fox in some other way.

This is what global “free trade” incentivizes: massive multinational corporations loyal to the almighty dollar rather than America. They will sell America out in a heartbeat if it means higher profits.

It’s “vulture capitalism” on a nationwide scale: megacorporations strip down and sell America’s assets to the highest international bidders.

“The Academy” Has Just Declared That All Hollywood Films Must Be Social Justice Propaganda

It used to be just strongly encouraged, now it’s mandatory: if you want your movie to be considered for an Academy Award (and what director doesn’t?), then it has to be social justice propaganda.

Starting in 2024, no film can be considered for Best Picture unless it satisfies two of the following four criteria (A, B, C & D). This is Standard A:

Either the lead or top supporting actor has to be a minority. If it’s an ensemble cast, 30% have to be either minorities, gay, female or disabled. Or the film itself has to be about “underrepresented people.”

Standard B:

This is similar to Standard A, but it’s for the people on the other side of the camera. The actors and the filmmakers must have Proper Minority Representation™.

Standard C:

You better not have any white interns.

Standard D:

The film’s marketing department must be led by minorities. Hollywood must now be focused on financially uplifiting minorities rather than making good films.

On top of that, all films considered for Best Picture MUST be propaganda now.

I hate to do the comparisons to Nazi Germany because they’re so commonplace and thereby diluted nowadays, but outside of Hitler, one of the most well-known Nazi officials from back then is Joseph Goebbels, the Nazis’ Minister of Propaganda. He turned the entire German film industry into blatant Nazi propaganda. This is the kind of thing we learn about in America and think, “It could never happen here.”

Well, maybe not. The Academy is literally dictating what movies should be about. If the movie’s message is not about how oppressed minorities are in America, then the Academy wants nothing to do with it.

Biden Was Reading From a Teleprompter During an Interview

He held up a framed picture and it reflected the text of the teleprompter in front of him:

Credit to @mbracemoore on Twitter for this.

Biden is in such bad shape that he has to read off a teleprompter during interviews with sycophantic late night “comics.”

There is zero chance this guy will debate. Unless they have some sort of miracle drug that makes his brain work again. He cannot even speak in impromptu settings.

Fauci: We’re Not Going Back to Normal Until The End of 2021

Dr. Anthony Fauci says that the nation must endure up to 15 additional months of torture even if there’s a vaccine released in the coming months:

Dr. Anthony Fauci just spilled the beans: contrary to the implicit promise numerous politicians made that COVID-19 restrictions would only last “until there’s an effective vaccine,” Fauci says the arrival of a vaccine won’t mean life will return to normal, perhaps for more than a year.

“If you’re talking about getting back to a degree of normality which resembles where we were prior to COVID, it’s going to be well into 2021, maybe even towards the end of 2021,” said the director of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases on Friday.

A safe and effective vaccine produced this quickly would be a stunning scientific accomplishment that could save thousands of lives. But Fauci warned that widespread distribution and getting “the majority, or more, of the population vaccinated and protected” won’t happen until perhaps the end 2021, and therefore means we cannot be free from oppressive lockdown measures until at least that point.

You miserable bastards think you’re just gonna go back to normal after only six months of lockdown? Well ol’ Fauci has news for you: you worthless peons are gonna be locked down for another 15 months.

Remember in 2016, when Trump was campaigning, the President of Mexico went on a profanity-laced tirade against Trump and the wall, and Trump’s response was “The wall just got 10 feet higher”?

That’s how Fauci is with the lockdowns: “Oh, you pieces of shit want to complain about the lockdowns? You want to go back to normal? Well guess what: the lockdown just got a year longer.”

However, I don’t believe this will actually happen. Maybe the diabolical Fauci wants it to happen, but he’s about to get overruled. Here’s my reasoning:

  1. Trump is going to be reelected, and when he is, he can give Fauci the boot and replace him with someone who actually has his head screwed on straight. Anyone who thinks it’s even remotely acceptable to keep the country under pandemic restrictions for nearly two full years does not belong in a position of power. It’s simply unacceptable.
  2. The politicians who are in control of the shut down orders will find little use for the virus after the election is over, and I’m sure they’ll be changing their tune after November 3. This national freakout over the coronavirus has been largely election year politicking and media-driven fearmongering, and once the election happens, the politicians in charge will probably see little benefit to keeping the Covid restrictions in place.
  3. If anything, they’ll be compelled to lift the restrictions and get things “back to normal” ASAP. Eventually, even the most bluepilled, brainwashed Fake News Believers (you know, the idiots that wear masks while driving by themselves) will decide that enough is enough. Maintaining Covid restrictions will become a political liability at some point in the near future, and that’s when we can expect the politicians to change their tune.

People are just not going to tolerate this for much longer. Once the politicians start to feel like there’s no upside to keeping the restrictions in place, they’ll vanish faster than they were imposed.

Plus, we just got some wonderful news today out of Pennsylvania: a federal judge has ruled the state’s shutdown orders to be unconstitutional:

PITTSBURGH (AP) — A federal judge on Monday struck down Gov. Tom Wolf’s pandemic restrictions that required people to stay at home, placed size limits on gatherings and ordered “non-life-sustaining” businesses to shut down, calling them unconstitutional. U.S. District Judge William Stickman IV sided with plaintiffs that included hair salons, drive-in movie theaters, a farmer’s market vendor, a horse trainer and several Republican officeholders who sued as individuals.

Stickman, an appointee of President Donald Trump, wrote in his ruling that the Wolf administration’s pandemic policies have been overreaching, arbitrary and violated citizens’ constitutional rights.

The governor’s efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus “were undertaken with the good intention of addressing a public health emergency,” Stickman wrote. “But even in an emergency, the authority of government is not unfettered.”

Courts had consistently rejected challenges to Wolf’s power to order businesses to close during the pandemic, and many other governors, Republican and Democrat, undertook similar measures as the virus spread across the country.

Wolf has lifted many of the restrictions since the lawsuit was filed in May, allowing businesses to reopen and canceling a statewide stay-at-home order. But his administration has maintained capacity restrictions and limitations on alcohol sales at bars and restaurants. The state has also imposed a gathering limit of more than 25 people for events held indoors and more than 250 people for those held outside.

If things don’t start opening up soon, expect more and more lawsuits like this. Thankfully, Trump has been stocking the federal judiciary with judges like Stickman, so we should expect more ruling like the one in Pennsylvania. The precedent has been established.

Eventually I’m sure this will end up before the Supreme Court to decide the matter for good, nationwide. However, I’m not sure that this is a good thing considering Chief Justice Roberts has gone full swamp and basically become a Democrat.

But people are going to turn against the lockdowns in due time.

I apologize for not keeping up with the blog the past several days, but I’ve been sick lately and haven’t been up to the task. It turned out to be Covid, funny enough.

Now that I have actually had the virus and know what it’s like, it has only made me more adamant that this is all bullshit and we need to return to normal immediately.

I had the flu last year and it was significantly worse than Covid. The worst of my symptoms only lasted a few days, and honestly once I started taking ibuprofen, I felt much, much better almost to the point of not feeling sick at all.

Covid is the flu. I’ve had both, and I can tell you with confidence: Covid is the flu.

Maybe not for old people, but for the vast majority of Americans, Covid is no different than the flu. And it is completely unacceptable to treat it like anything else. We don’t shut the country down for flu season, and we shouldn’t have shut the country down for this.

This is not something we need to shut the entire country down over. The end of 2021 is completely out of the question. There will be a full-blown revolt if that is the case, and there should be.

Americans Sour on Sports

Professional sports had a +20 favorability rating last August. Now it’s -10:

I’m sure this has a lot to do with the fact that sports have become massively politicized over the past four months–the BLACK LIVES MATTER imagery everywhere, the anthem kneeling, the constant lecturing and sanctimony from players, coaches and sports media pundits. It’s all part of the reason Americans have turned their backs on sports.

But I want to draw your attention to the partisan split on viewing sports favorably: last August, Republicans were +11 on sports, now they’re -35 for a shift of -46 away from sports. Independents went from +26 to -10, a shift of -36. And Democrats have gone from +16 to +11, a shift of just -5

One of these things is not like the other. Republicans and Independents seem to be on the same page as it pertains to souring on sports, while Democrats have hardly budged.

I keep saying: the signs of a coming big Trump win are there, you just have to read between the lines.

Election polls keep showing Biden winning independents, but polls like this show us that’s probably not true. When it comes to the Hard Left Turn seen in American sports in recent months (really since Kaepernick first kneeled in 2016), Independents and Republicans are basically on the same page, while Democrats are on their own.

But even Democrats are turning against sports. Not a lot of them, but you would have figured that Democrats’ opinions of sports would have improved in the wake of all the BLM propaganda. It hasn’t; it has slightly decreased.

It’s too much for even Democrats.

I don’t understand why the sports world would want to become politicized. Sports is supposed to be an escape, a haven from the messed up world we live in. Beyond that, it’s just bad business to alienate half the country. I don’t know if sports leagues epically miscalculated and assumed BLM was way more broadly popular and uncontroversial than it really is, or if they have been fully co-opted by the radical left and repurposed into yet another propaganda factory even though they know it will cost them their audiences. I really don’t know, but I’d assume it’s the latter.

Just like the riots, the Hard Left Turn in sports has backfired spectacularly on the Democrats.
