Ron DeSantis continues to be the nation’s best governor:

I can’t believe I’m actually reading this. I am so used to American politicians being complete pussies.
Ron DeSantis says to hell with all that:
Florida’s governor has drafted “anti-mob” legislation to expand already controversial Stand Your Ground laws — to allow people to shoot looters, according to a report.
A draft of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ proposed bill expands the list of “forcible felonies” under Florida’s self-defense law to include criminal mischief causing “interruption or impairment” of a business, according to the Miami Herald, which obtained a copy through a records request.
It also specifically allows force against those looting, which the draft defines as burglary within 500 feet of a “violent or disorderly assembly.”
DeSantis also wants to make it a third-degree felony to block traffic during a protest — and offer immunity to drivers who accidentally kill or injure protesters who do so, according to the Herald.
Expect the libs to scream bloody murder that their precious astroturfed, Soros-funded looters no longer have carte blanche to destroy the country while the law-abiding folk cower in fear.
We’ve seen the McCloskeys get the book thrown at them by a corrupt Dem prosecutor in St. Louis.
We’ve seen Jake Gardner commit suicide because he was charged with murder after he shot and killed a looter in self-defense.
No more of this bullshit. The law-abiding, upstanding citizens need to be empowered.
The looters and anarchists are the ones that should be living in fear, not the small business owners and peaceful homeowners.
Ron “Chad” DeSantis is one of the few politicians in this country who has his head screwed on straight. He’s not going to let his state turn into bizarro world where the “justice” system looks the other way for looters, but brings its full wrath down on law-abiding citizens for having the audacity to not want to be violently murdered by BLM and Antifa.
If you are shocked and offended by DeSantis’ proposed legislation, it’s a sign you’ve been living in upside down world for far too long. Your priorities have been warped beyond all recognition if you care more about the looters than you do the people being looted.
It should not at all be controversial that the law favors those who abide by it and has no mercy upon those that do not.
No more anarcho-tyranny.

Or, as Sam Francis, the man who coined the term, put it:
This is precisely the bizarre system of misrule I have elsewhere described as “anarcho-tyranny”—we refuse to control real criminals(that’s the anarchy) so we control the innocent (that’s the tyranny).
Not in Florida.
