Wow. I’m shocked that a liberal, New York hedge funder would say something like this publicly.
And then to go the extra mile of slamming the media for, let’s call it what it is, lying all the time about everything imaginable (my words, not his)–that’s something.
Bill Ackman is of course not a good dude–he pulls a lot of dirty tricks (to put it lightly) when it comes to the stock market. But he’s bang-on here.
I wonder what compelled this sudden burst of conscience out of him.
