Bob Dole Asked in Final Letter if He Would Be Able to Vote in Chicago After Dying

Bob Dole wrote a public letter shortly before passing away. His daughter read part of that letter at his memorial service. It contained some beautiful sentiments, but the last part was the best:

“I also confess that I’m a bit curious to learn if I’m correct in thinking that heaven will look at lot like Kansas, and to see, like others who have gone before me, if I will still be able to vote in Chicago.”

What a savage.

Bob Dole knew what was up.

RIP.

Also, the awkwardness at Dole’s state funeral in the Capitol was something to behold:

“We did it, Joe!”

They’re just two peas in a pod, aren’t they?

We are not even to 2022 yet.
