See that jump that put them conveniently ahead, almost as if it was magic?
Similar in Michigan although not as significant and blatant a jump:
I don’t know how this can be allowed to happen without raising any alarms.
We’ve known this was coming for probably four years now, and yet somehow it’s still crushing to see it play out. The Democrats don’t care who knows they’re blatantly stealing this election.
“What are you gonna do about it?”
And we’re still not out of the woods in Georgia yet. Arizona is still being counted and the White House thinks they’ll pull ahead there to offset Wisconsin, but Arizona has already been called by Fox and AP for what it’s worth.
I guess we just have to trust Trump to fight this and get to the bottom of it.
And he is aware of what’s going on. He just tweeted this out, although Twitter censored it because they’re in on the steal:
He was responding to this:
I’ll include the image in full showing the massive jump for Biden in Michigan, although you’ll probably have to zoom in to see it:
This is just another way to visualize what the graphic at the top shows.
UPDATE: apparently the Michigan jump for Biden was caused by a “typo” and has since been corrected:
So instead of a 70k vote lead in Michigan Trump now has a 198k vote lead.
Whether this was truly a “typo” or they got caught in the act once Trump caught wind of it, we’ll never know.
This thing is being stolen in front of our eyes. The Democrats decided on November 9, 2016 to never lose an election again, and this is how they’re making good on that resolution.
We need to put a stop to this. I don’t know how but for the good of the country this cannot be allowed to fly.
Democrats are going to scream bloody murder because of their steadfast belief in the twin mantras of “EVERY VOTE MUST BE COUNTED” and “THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ELECTION FRAUD,” which when taken together enable them to steal elections.
But they’ll never understand, so who cares what they say?
Also, vote counting has mysteriously been put on hold out in Nevada. Trump was doing well there, so I’m sure Las Vegas Democrats are hard at work rigging that state.
It’s hard not to get a little depressed seeing this play out in real time. But take heart because we have Trump and he’s not going to go down without a fight. He ain’t Romney.
Every year around this time we see a deluge of articles from mainstream sources instructing the easily-programmed liberals who consume a steady diet of propaganda on how to argue with their “crazy Republican relatives.”
Five Thirty Eight has a handy guide:
Vox even instructed impressionable young liberals on exactly what to say on a variety of different topics:
Imagine being a Super Intelligent, Free-Thinking™️ college-educated liberal and yet still needing a Vox guide on how to debate your family members.
Their guide to the immigration topic (this was from 2015) is nothing more than an instruction manual on how to blatantly shill for Obama’s policies:
And they get mad at us for calling them NPCs but Vox’s guides depict your family members as generic archetypes, as if everyone’s uncle is the exact same person with the exact same views. You, the enlightened 21-year-old college liberal, must spread the Gospel of Obama to the troglodytes.
Again that Vox guide was from 2015, when liberals still held the White House. Their condescending arrogance was quite obvious in the Vox piece, as they felt their power was entrenched indefinitely. They were all too eager to smugly lecture their dim-witted Republican relatives.
But now, three years after they shockingly lost power to Trump, they are angry. Very angry. No longer are they seeking to preach and lecture their conservative relatives; the new name of the game is to angrily confront those who took everything from them. Their Republican relatives are now considered “Nazis,” and Thanksgiving is war.
This is what they’re saying in 2019:
“Challenge your dad to a fistfight the second time he brings up Hunter Biden.”
I feel bad for this person, whoever he is, as well as the thousands of people who liked his tweet.
They’ve been brainwashed. At some point in the past 5-6 years the media began promoting this idea that Thanksgiving is a time to get into arguments about politics with your Republican (now Nazi) relatives. You see articles and social media posts about this around this time every year. And it’s getting out of control now.
Could it be any more obvious that the Uniparty-controlled media is trying to tear American families apart over politics?
Thanksgiving is a wonderful opportunity to catch-up with your family and spend quality time around the dinner table.
You do not argue with your family about politics. You argue with strangers on the internet about politics. Family time is sacred and not to be tainted with politics.
Family transcends politics but there’s a very clear and obvious attempt underway to reverse that. Clearly the elites want political affiliation to be more important than blood.
This is utterly evil and it goes to show that their treachery knows no bounds. There is no wholesome institution or tradition they will not attempt to undermine and poison. They do not take holiday breaks.
Do not spend your Thanksgiving bickering with your relatives about politics. You will never change their minds anyway. I’ve changed my mind about a great many things over the past few years and none of them were caused by someone DESTROYING me in an argument.
Thanksgiving is a holiday where Americans eat, drink and be merry. The annual tradition of everyone coming together strengthens family bonds, which in turn strengthen the country itself. It is a wonderful thing, and it would be a shame if the one day per year most American families spend together is wasted arguing about politics.
But please, let’s not focus on Trump supporters getting what’s coming to them.
Let’s focus on the real problem which is that Blue Checkmark Journalists just aren’t safe anymore in Trump’s America.
Blue Checkmark Liberals, like CNN’s Brian Stelter, are the real victims here, because Twump’s whetowic makes him feewl wess thafe, even though he spends most of his time sitting in an office and tweeting all day:
Sure, Jon Turan was physically beaten because of his political views, but Brian Stelter has to withstand the occasional Mean Tweet from the President!
I for one am glad our Soldiers of Truth in the media have their priorities in line.
Who cares if Trump supporters have become second-class citizens subject to violent intimidation in public? What really matters is that fat, rich Uniparty propagandists are never exposed to any criticism whatsoever.
I said a few weeks ago that I would be making a concerted effort to hold the American media accountable in cases where it has either directly or indirectly led to violence and bloodshed. This is one of those cases. Tacoma, Washington:
“Police inWashington statesay an armed man was shot and killed early Saturday after trying to attack a local Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)detention center. The Seattle Times reported that the unidentified man appeared outside of the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma with a rifle and threw incendiary devices at both the facility and nearby propane tanks, at one point setting a vehicle on fire.
Officers responded to the incident around 4 a.m. and called out to the man before shots were fired. It was not clear how many shots were fired or whether the man fired at police. The shooting took place hours after a rally in front of the detention center to protest plannedmass deportation raids around the country. The Tacoma facility, which is run by the Department of Homeland Security, holds migrants pending deportation proceedings.
The 69-year-old armed man killed by Washingtonstate police as he attacked a localImmigrationand Customs Enforcement detention center Saturday sent a manifesto to friends the day before the assault in which he wrote “I amAntifa,” and was being lionized by members of the leftwing group as a “martyr.”
The group Seattle Antifascist Action described assailant Willem Van Spronsen a “good friend and comrade” who “took a stand against the fascist detention center in Tacoma” and “became a martyr who gave his life to the struggle against fascism.”
These people watch too many movies and their lives are too boring, so they pretend they’re battling “fascists” in the streets and saving America from Tyrant Trump. Unfortunately for them they weren’t alive during World War II, and so they must play Make Believe and tilt at windmills in order to satisfy their envy of prior generations.
The worst part of it is, there is a great insidious enemy that is oppressing and immiserating untold millions not only here in America but all around the world, only it’s called the Globalist Uniparty and the so-called “Anti-Fascists” ironically happen to be its unwitting foot soldiers and enforcers.
But the main point here is that this man was radicalized and spurred to violence by the U.S. media and its reckless propaganda:
“GEO Group, which runs the 1,575-bed Northwest Detention Center, in an email to The Associated Press said baseless accusations about how detainees are treated at its facilities “have led to misplaced aggression and a dangerous environment for our employees, whose safety is our top priority.“
Wonder where all those “baseless accusations” leading to all that “misplaced aggression” are coming from?
The media, of course.
The media radicalized this guy to attack an immigration detention center with dangerous explosives, where he was ultimately shot and killed by police.
The media believes it can say anything, no matter how dishonest, reckless or incendiary, and not be responsible for the real-world consequences of its viewers who actually believe the media’s lurid claims.
Who could have ever predicted that the media telling Americans that ICE is running a network of concentration camps where it tortures illegal immigrants would compel someone out there to go attack an ICE detention center?
The media itself knows its content is all propaganda and sensation, but lots of people out there don’t. There are people out there who hang on the media’s every word and believe everything they see on cable news.
You can’t just have the hyperbole turned up to 11 every single day. “Trump is a fascist! Trump is a Literal Nazi™! ICE is running death camps! America 2019 has become Nazi Germany!!!!!!!!”
People out there actually believe this stuff.
And some of those people not only believe the propaganda, but act on it.
After all, if you truly believed ICE was maintaining Nazi-style concentration camps, wouldn’t you think it’s not only appropriate but imperative that you storm those ICE detention centers with guns and firebombs and try to liberate them?
Just a couple of weeks ago, Shaun King, aka the Fake Black Guy, aka Talcum-X, tweeted this:
And you’re surprised about what happened in Tacoma, Washington?
No one should be surprised that this happened, and no one should be surprised when it happens again.
But that will never happen because the banking system in America is run by a small amount of Fed-supported megabanks (who were Too Big to Fail in 2008 and have only grown in size since then). You can’t just bust into the banking sector. It’s a cartel.
“It’s an interesting and provocative idea — and certainly one that has a lot of support in Neocon and Foreign Liberal Internationalist thinking. Those pillars of foreign policy establishment thinking have long claimed that “countries that trade together don’t go to war with each other,” and have sold trade deals only partly on the economics, seeing them mostly as instruments to create and preserve peace.
Well, then: shared commerce and finance keeps America knitted together in peace too, right?”
Presumably, but I have a feeling America is about to test that hypothesis.
“But what happens when major corporations, especially those involved in finance and the free exchange of ideas in order to further the aims of participatory democracy, decide they’re going to effectively exile half the country out of the normal systems of the country?
What happens when half of America won’t buy bread from the other half of America, and half of America won’t issue a mortgage to half of America based on their failing a Political Test and Corporate Loyalty Oath?
What happens to the idea that peoples that trade together can’t go to war with each other then?
The left is driving this nation to the brink of actual civil war, and the corporatist Neocons and #MuhPrinciples cucks are stupidly, ignorantly assisting them in doing so because they don’t like how half of the country voted in a single presidential election.”
What happens is we get civil war.
I have taken to calling it “21st Century Jim Crow,” Ace throws the term Apartheid around and that would also be applicable. American Apartheid:
“Tim Pool [often discusses] the “bifurcation” process going on in America, in which large corporations are forcing the populace to de-couple from each other and form their own parallel and separate communications and finance structures — permitting and even encouraging civil war (or at least civil violence).
If the left wants to be free of us, I understand — but then, we must negotiate a full and formal political separation. The left cannot attempt to exile us and yet keep us prisoner under their thumbs.
You want done with us? I could not rush to agree with your impulse any faster.
But done means DONE. We will not accept your plan of keeping us a second (at best) class citizens under your rule.
A national divorce? Absolutely.
Apartheid, with a ruling progressive class and subjugated conservatives? No.”
This is the most twisted part of it all: if the left cannot tolerate us at all, then at least allow us to go our separate way.
Instead, they want to torment and oppress us. It is sadistic.
“A Brazilian woman who made headlines this week after she was charged with assaulting a man wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat inside a Massachusetts restaurant has been taken into custody, officials said Tuesday.
Rosiane Santos, 41, was charged this month with disorderly conduct and assault and battery after police said she admitted to attacking a man because he supported President Trump.
Video submitted by 23-year-old Bryton Turner showed Ms. Santos yelling at him and knocking the red, “Make America Great Again” hat off his head at the Casa Vallarta restaurant in Falmouth. Ms. Santos told local media at the time that she was the victim in the situation, even though a bartender at the restaurant said Mr. Turner did nothing to provoke the alleged attack.
Of course the bitch tried to claim she was the victim.
But there’s a happy twist on this story: the Brazilian illegal alien was taken into custody alright–ICE Custody.
“On Tuesday, ICE officials took Ms. Santos into custody after determining that she was in the country illegally.”
America 2019: the left’s intolerance of the right is now absolute, total.
You can’t even politely disagree with leftists.
If you express any opinion they disagree with, even if you do so modestly and even if you express partial agreement with them, they will still storm out in disgust.
The slightest deviation from leftism is proof that you are evil. They don’t want to talk about it. They don’t want to debate it. They don’t want to hear another perspective.
They want nothing to do with you.
They cannot stand to even be around you.
Forget going on a date with them–they won’t even speak to you if your views are not in complete alignment with theirs.
Even partial disagreement is intolerable.
There’s a word for what leftists have become in 2019: bigots.
You know how it’s “racist” to judge a person based on their skin color rather than the content of their character, i.e. without actually getting to know them personally? Well, leftists have taken to judging people based on their political views. If you disagree with them in the slightest, they want nothing to do with you whatsoever. They’ve already made up their minds about you. That’s bigotry.
Leftists are bigoted against us.
But it’s more than mere bigotry. If someone’s private views are bigoted, that’s one thing, but if they’re acting on that bigotry, and trying to impose their will on the group of people they are bigoted against, that’s way, way worse.
Nobody tell him Obama was the one who put kids in cages.
Whoever said the trend towards secularization in the West would make us more mellow, tolerant and less fervent was full of it. Christianity may be in decline in the West, but religious fervor certainly is not. When you read things like the above, how can you deny that leftism has become a religion? The main Abrahamic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, are centered on full, unequivocal acceptance of the One True God and categorical rejection of all other gods. Leftism demands the same.
Anyway, I have no problem if a leftist disagrees with me or even hates me for my politics (although I contend the latter is very unhealthy).
But when they start trying to take action against me and my livelihood because of my politics, that’s something I will not stand for.
They crossed a line with the Covington Catholic kids. They wanted–still want, even now–those kids’ lives destroyed. They want them blackballed from colleges. Some leftists literally want them dead:
It’s not just our ideas and views that are intolerable, either: it’s us, ourselves.
Who needs a fascist government when American leftists are already well on the way to full-blown fascism? Don’t you see where this will lead? If you believe it is completely unacceptable and intolerable for someone to have different political views than your own, and you’re talking about excommunicating people for their views, how much of a stretch is it for you to call for extreme measures to deal with dissident voices?
The left no longer cares about opposing our ideas and views. The left is now going after the people who hold those views. That is a major shift that cannot be understated.
Who needs Ingsoc and Big Brother when we have American leftists?
That’s basically the point Jim Geraghty makes in a recent column at the otherwise mostly worthless National Review:
“There is no sinister, government-run mass-surveillance system watching our every move.
Okay, there actually is, and it’s called the NSA, but Geraghty is talking about a 1984-style panopticon with black helicopters hovering outside your window and telescreens:
“The vast majority of us chose to carry around smartphones with cameras, and some of us chose to livestream so much of what we see, whether it’s dramatic or not. Big Brother isn’t watching; the mob is — at least when a particular moment is pitched to potential viewers as dramatic and demanding attention.“
Pitched by whom? The Uniparty Propaganda Department, better known as the media. We’ll get to this later.
But yes, the larger point here is true: we’re always being watched and judged–not by Big Brother but by our fellow citizens and their smartphones.
“There is no sinister, government-run system for punishing those who say or do controversial or unpopular things. Groups of often-anonymous individuals on social media take it upon themselves to enact their vision of justice — demanding the identification of anyone seen acting controversially in social media videos, declare them “guilty of hate crimes,” and demanding “action” against them.
The Covington Catholic kids are the perfect example of what Geraghty is trying to say here. A totalitarian police state state did not try to destroy their lives. Their fellow citizens–those who recorded them and shared the video on social media–did.
“There is no state pressure needed to get private institutions to turn against suddenly ostracized individuals. Employers will quickly fire anyone who they deem to be a sufficient public-relations headache. Publishers preemptively warn authors that they will not stand by them if they become “the subject of public disrepute, contempt, complaints or scandals.” In the face of sufficient social-media outrage and negative press coverage, churches and religious schools will publicly promise to contemplate expulsion. Local officials with no jurisdiction over any particular affair will welcome “a tidal wave of condemnation.”
There is no state-run system for collective punishment; there is instead individuals calling for all colleges to express skepticism about any applicant from Covington Catholic High School.
The leftwing fascists themselves can’t fire you from your job, but they can certainly pressure your employer to fire you, so it’s basically the same thing.
“No hostile foreign power had to invade to impose these conditions upon Americans. No sinister cabal took control of the reins of our government. No one tore up the Constitution and imposed martial law or suddenly announced a new regime of seemingly random spotlighted surveillance and draconian social punishment for deviating from the mob’s amorphous definition of acceptable behavior. Groups of not-particularly famous, not-particularly powerful Americans chose to impose this new system upon all of us.”
Our Founding Fathers created a system of government incapable of being corrupted and turned into a totalitarian police state.
So the American totalitarians simply decided to turn every other institution in America into their totalitarian police state. The media. Hollywood. Academia. Social media platforms. Big business. They’ve all been either weaponized against us our turned into propaganda factories against us.
And the Constitution doesn’t say anything about reigning them in–it tells only the federal government what it can and cannot do to us.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there are parts of the federal government that are part of the American police state–most prominently the Department of (In)Justice and the FBI, and the #Resistance bureaucrats trying to gum up the works–but the greater point Geraghty is making is that our fascist tyranny operates a lot differently than Oceania’s.
Geragthy is saying America 2019 is not a government-administered 1984-style tyranny, but rather a ground-up, mob-based tyranny more akin to the period of mass hysteria following the French Revolution, known today as the Reign of Terror.
But what Geraghty misses is the fact that the leftwing mob is not organic. It didn’t just spontaneously materialize on its own. It is the collective product of decades of media/entertainment industry/academia brainwashing and narrative peddling. If we are living in the midst of a French Terror-style tyranny (to be clear: my example, not Geraghty’s), it’s important to point out that the French Terror was directed and overseen by the Committee of Public Safety. The “media” is our own Committee For Public Safety, directing the rage of the brainwashed mob at new targets seemingly weekly.
The leftwing mob operates on social media platforms run by Silicon Valley giants who have tilted the playing field dramatically in the mob’s favor. And it is assisted by big corporations that are compelled to not only placate and pander to the leftwing mob, but to openly promote its political agenda (e.g. Nike, Gillette, Apple, MasterCard, etc.)
Geraghty does sort of allude to corporations doing the bidding of the mob, and also points out that the Catholic Church buckled almost instantly and accepted the left’s lies on the Covington Kids, wasting no time throwing them under the bus. But Geraghty ultimately returns the focus of his post back to the leftwing mob itself.
Geraghty is right when he says leftwing fascism is not the result of us being conquered by a foreign enemy–the left is the enemy within. But I’d rather be fighting a foreign enemy because there’s no mistaking who the enemy is and what he wants.
The sinister cabal has not taken over our government entirely, because obviously we have Trump, but it’s taken control of a large chunk of it; that’s the Deep State. At this point, with all the stuff we’ve seen from Comey, Strzok, Ohr, Brennan, Clapper and the rest, you’d have to be willfully ignorant to deny the Deep State exists. However, at any rate, the sinister cabal doesn’t really need to take over government when it has control of the media, Silicon Valley, Hollywood, academia and corporate America. They didn’t have to tear up the Constitution to tyrannize us because the Constitution says nothing about non-governmental tyranny.
Geraghty is dead wrong in implying that the lefwing mob more or less exists in a vacuum and is self-driven, organic and spontaneous. The leftwing mob is a symptom of the problem, not the problem itself.
Still, he’s correct in a general sense that our current form of tyranny bears little resemblance to what the 20th century taught us tyranny would look like when it eventually ensnared America.
The most significant difference, however, between America 2019 and both 1984 and the guillotines of the French Terror, is that both Oceania and the Terror were the end points, while America 2019 is still a work in “progress.” In fact, I would even argue that we’ve only just begun our descent into tyranny and totalitarianism.
America can, and will, get worse. Much worse.
I’m hesitant to say “we” did this to ourselves, because we means all of us. But you and I had no part in this. We’re the ones constantly on the defensive, pushing back against the “media” and the mob (which are two sides of the same coin).
I didn’t want any of this. I wanted to be a sportswriter when I was younger. This was because I assumed the America of my adulthood would be like the America of my childhood, meaning mostly undisturbed by politics. When I was 17, I never imagined that within a decade, American life would be almost entirely consumed by politics. In fact, I never envisioned myself having anything much to do with politics as an adult. I figured I’d vote and maybe learn a bit more about the politicians themselves, but never anything significant. Times were different: you used to be able to go a whole day without thinking about politics. Isn’t that incredible?
Back in “the day,” people could live their whole lives without paying serious attention to politics. Sure, they’d tune in during elections and major historical moments like the JFK assassination, the Moon Landing, Watergate, the Iran Hostage Crisis, Lewinsky, 9/11 and the Iraq War, but for the most part, people were fully concerned with other things, like their careers, families, communities, churches, hobbies, pastimes and other non-political activities. But that’s not how America is anymore. We can’t ignore politics anymore.
Today, America feels like I imagine the run-up to the Civil War felt: the growing divide at the forefront of everyone’s mind, rumblings of secession, a sense of irreconcilability, and the fear that it was all building up to something very big and very bad.
Once I became politically “awakened,” I realized that becoming a sportswriter meant devoting my life to something ultimately inconsequential. I could have attempted to put my head in the sand and tried to ignore politics, but that’s no longer possible in this country. At some point, I would have been dragged in. Basically all of us have been dragged in by now.
And when that happens, you don’t fuck around: you choose a side and get after it.
I wish we could go back to the way things were “back in the day,” when you could mostly ignore politics and still take for granted that no matter who won the next election, the country and your own life would be more or less the same, that America would always exist and be the most powerful country on earth, and that you could get along just fine with people regardless of their politics.
But now, in 2019, we can no longer take any of those things for granted. We can’t just say, “At the end of the day, we’re all still Americans,” because each half of the country wants nothing to do with the other half.
What do we even have in common anymore? Love of country? Pfft. That’s a one-sided “issue” now. A shared history? Diversity has undone that. A shared culture? “Mainstream” pop culture has basically become a giant middle finger to President Trump and everyone who supports him, so no, we don’t have a shared culture because half the country is explicitly unwelcome to it.
We’re barely even a nation in any meaningful sense.
It’s not entirely the left’s fault. America’s global superpower status–and the resulting way of life we’ve all grown accustomed to–is threatened by the rise of China, Russia and Islam. The left didn’t do that.
But the demographic and cultural transformation of this country is a product of the left. The fact that white people are now actively discriminated against and hated–that’s the left’s doing. Republicans are treated like second-class citizens at work, at school and basically everywhere else besides our private homes–the left did that. (And we’re only Republicans in the first place because we’re against the left’s fascism; now we’re treated to more fascism for that.) The left is waging the War on Traditional Masculinity and Traditional Values. The left is pushing for drag queens to teach our children.
The left is undoing our way of life. You and I didn’t ask for any of this.
It’s in smaller things, too: movies nowadays are getting to the point where they’re becoming unwatchable because they prioritize pushing leftwing dogma first and entertainment second. Look at the list of this year’s Oscars nominees for Best Picture; most of them are in the running purely because of what they represent politically:
“Black Panther”? It’s an ode to Black Power that casts whites as oppressive colonizers the world would be better without. Objectively, Black Panther is pretty average as far as Marvel superhero movies go (and was nowhere near as good as Infinity War, which was also released in 2018) but only Black Panther gets Oscars love because of its Social Impact and its Powerful Message that Black People Are Awesome and White People Suck.
“BlacKKKlansman”? It’s an anti-white film based on the premise that White People Are Racist–really breaking new ground there.
“Vice” trashes former Republican Vice President Dick Cheney.
“Bohemian Rhapsody” glorifies Freddie Mercury, the gay former frontman of Queen.
“Green Book” is about Racism in the 1960s.
The left has ruined entertainment because it decided entertainment is simply another way to push its political, racial and cultural dogma on the American people.
I would love it if I could just ignore all that stuff and focus on Sportsball, but that would mean essentially acquiescing to the left’s vision for this country, which I will never do.
You can’t be un-redpilled. You can’t buy back in to the same lies that have people chanting “BLACK LIVES MATTER!” blaming whitey for everything, and thinking that the most #powerful message a movie can send is that White Racism Is Bad, or that It’s Okay To Be Gay. It would be impossible for me to go back to believing the white race isn’t under attack, and that traditional masculinity isn’t also under attack, and that Women Don’t Have Equality In This Country.
There is no possible way you or I could withdraw from the political battlefield without consciously deciding to be cowards and surrendering to the left.
Ignoring politics is a de facto acceptance of the left’s fascist vision for this country. And so we have no choice but to fight.
If the past few years have shown anything, it’s that as our challenge to the left’s status quo and dominance has actually borne fruit (mainly in the form of Trump getting elected, as well as our growing presence online which allows us to both avoid and subvert the “media,” the nexus of the left’s power) the left’s fear of us has grown.
For the first time in a very long time, we’re actually getting somewhere. The left feels genuinely threatened, and their fear of us actually succeeding and toppling their system has manifested in their growing intolerance and efforts to destroy us. This is why they lie about us in the “media,” deplatform us on social media and try to get us fired from our jobs: because we’re actually producing results.
Their present fascism and intolerance is a direct result of our success over the past several years, meaning that the more gains we make culturally and politically, the more they will turn up the fascism and wrath.
When America was run by a Uniparty, where the Democrats called the shots and the Republicans pretended to oppose them, the left was just fine with letting us live our little lives in peace. Bush, Romney, McCain: those guys represented zero threat to the left’s dominance. The left was happy to let us have those guys leading us.
But not Trump. Oh, no: definitely not him. He represents a real threat to the Uniparty. He represents actual change. A wall!? Of course we can’t have a wall! It would slow the demographic transformation of the country and deprive Corporate America of an unlimited supply of cheap labor! Why, they’d actually have to hireAmericans and pay them decent wages! Unacceptable! Trade rebalancing and tariffs? No way–multinational corporations had a good thing going with all that cheap foreign labor via outsourcing. Getting America out of the endless wars? Are you kidding me?!?! The military-industrial complex needs those endless wars! The list goes on.
Now that we’ve begun to rebel, they’re cracking down. That’s why you’re seeing this alarming behavior out of them today. They believe they can still squash the rebellion, put the genie back in the bottle, by coming down hard on any and all dissenting voices.
This is going to get worse before it gets better, but just know that the nastier and more intolerant the left becomes, the more we are succeeding.
The conveniences and comforts of modern life are now being leveraged against us to control out political behavior.
Example: for many years, social media made it easier to keep in contact with one another, now the companies that own the platforms are proactively policing speech and political expression.
At first social media was a novelty, then it became essential to our daily lives. Life takes place online nowadays; you need to be on social media in order to stay connected. And that’s especially true if you are in the political sphere. Politics takes place on social media. That’s where the debate is.
But now, previously benign social media platforms, which used to simply sit back and allow virtually anyone to say basically whatever they wanted, are beginning to proactively enforce Uniparty political dogma on social media.
Social media companies realize how important they are to our daily lives, and the political debate in particular, and are leveraging their importance toward political ends.
There are strings attached now. If you want to use and benefit from social media, you must have the correct politics now. It wasn’t this way at the start, but now that the big tech companies have us hooked on their platforms, they are trying to control our thoughts and opinions–otherwise, you can kiss your Twitter and Facebook goodbye.
But now major American corporations are taking it a step further: it’s not just big tech that is using its power to play the role of Thought Police.
“Can you imagine how scary it would be to live in a world where your livelihood depended on having the ‘correct’ politics? It’s the sort of thing you might expect of totalitarian regimes – Baathist Iraq under Saddam Hussain; everywhere that has ever tried communism; increasingly, Xi’s panopticon China – but definitely not of any liberal democracy in the 21st century.
That dystopian future, though, may be much closer than you think. I only properly appreciated this recently when the podcast I’ve been doing for the last few years was mysteriously dropped by my regular employer, forcing me to seek funding sources from elsewhere.
If I were impeccably ‘progressive’, this would be a doddle. I could monetize my content through ads on YouTube, I could crowdfund donations through Patreon, I could promote my work with regular appearances on CNN. But if you’re snarky and irreverent and you won’t play the virtue-signaling game then your options are much more limited. Any deviation from the path of ‘woke’ righteousness – even just a misjudged joke or a remark taken out of context – can get you branded a ‘far right’ extremist and your audience won’t be allowed to pay you even if they want to.
This is what happened last month to the blogger/vidcaster Carl Benjamin – aka Sargon of Akkad – whose long-form meditations on everything from Brexit and feminism to Islam and video game politics have won him nearly 900,000 subscribers on YouTube. Benjamin’s primary funding source was Patreon, a website which enables donors to support projects they love with monthly contributions. But when one of Benjamin’s critics unearthed some audio of intemperate remarks he’d made in the course of an obscure interview where he’d been defending himself against neo-Nazis, Patreon de-platformed him for breaching its ‘terms of service.’
Instead of simply providing a neutral platform for creators of all stripes to get paid by their audiences, Patreon has decided that only those with the Correct Views can get paid for their work.
It would be one thing if these platforms like Patreon, Twitter, Youtube and Facebook were actually only trying to remove genuine violent/dangerous extremists. But they’re not. They’re simply labeling everyone who challenges Uniparty orthodoxy as a “right-wing extremist” and using that false label as justification for deplatforming them.
“Benjamin’s defenestration needs to be understood in the context of a much wider ongoing purge of right wing voices by Silicon Valley, which now likes to see itself as the world’s liberal bulwark against the dark, populist forces supposedly unleashed by Donald Trump.
Superficially, this might sound reasonable. As even our conservative tabloids are wont to ask, ‘When, oh when, are social media giants going to do more to combat hate speech?’ The more important question is, though: ‘Who gets to decide what is hate speech?’ From YouTube and Twitter to Facebook and Patreon, Silicon Valley’s answer seems to be: the kind of Social Justice Warriors who think any viewpoint to the right of Bernie Sanders or Jeremy Corbyn is literally Hitler.
“Combating hate speech” is merely the pretext, the fig leaf to provide some moral justification for waging war against free speech.
See, the American Totalitarians still want to maintain their delusions of moral superiority. They want to have it both ways: they want to silence anyone who disagrees with them, but they don’t want to feel like fascists while doing so. So they pretend the people they’re silencing are all Literal Nazis who need to be silenced, or else they’ll eventually start waging another genocide or something.
But it’s not just Patreon enforcing political orthodoxy. It’s much worse:
“Among those riding to the defense of Benjamin were two of Patreon’s leading beneficiaries – author and academic Jordan Peterson and vidcaster Dave Rubin. They are trying to launch an alternative crowd-funding platform to Patreon – one untainted by political bias. But this may not be easy because the rot goes much deeper than Patreon. The real pressure, it seems, comes from the payment providers – Visa, Discover, PayPal, especially Mastercard – which have taken to using financial blacklisting as a way of enforcing progressive ideology.
There isn’t space here to discuss why they are doing it. It is simply an observable fact that, as Breitbart writer Allum Bokhari puts it, ‘it has become increasingly difficult for individuals engaged in controversial yet lawful speech to fund their activities online.’ Even liberals are starting to worry. Banks and credit card companies, says the left-leaning Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), have become ‘de facto internet censors.’
Patreon is small-time compared to the big dogs Visa and Mastercard.
Payments processors and banks made life easier for us, now they’re leveraging our reliance on them to control our behavior:
Better think twice now before you use your Visa or MasterCard to legally purchase guns and ammunition. They got us hooked on their products because of how much easier they made our lives, and now they’re saying, “Either you readjust your political views or you no longer get to enjoy our now-essential services.”
And of course if you don’t like it, then go start your own global payments processing business. At least that’s what the True Conservatives™ will say.
If you think this will stop with social media companies and payments processors, you are wrong. Eventually hotels will start refusing rooms to dissidents. A judge in New York said bars are allowed to kick Trump supporters out.
We won’t be able to get loans from banks.
We will eventually be blackballed from commerce altogether.
The New Fascists will not stop until conservatives are completely excommunicated from American life altogether.
They want to make regular Americans conclude it’s simply not worth it to challenge the Uniparty establishment. Too much trouble. It’s about demoralizing dissidents.
They want us fired from our jobs and denied the ability to make a living–in addition to wanting us dead and our homelands overrun with Third Worlders.
The Ben Shapiros will say, “That’s absurd! Muh Free Market will prevent this! These companies will lose so much money discriminating against conservatives!”
Apparently the companies don’t care.
They’re willing to sacrifice profits to enforce Uniparty dogma.
Virtually every major multinational corporation will soon be an enforcer for the Uniparty Establishment.
And, of course, Teachers Pet do-gooder 30-year-old “journalists” at the New York Times are applauding it all.
They’re the same people telling us democracy dies in darkness and that they’re protecting us from tyranny.
They are the tyrants.
The fascists are completely convinced beyond all doubt that they are the good guys doing the right thing.
When the history of this era is written, they will be the bad guys. But not only are they unaware of it, they are so utterly certain that the complete opposite will be true; that they’ll be the Heroes and Good Guys.
We need a media that is responsible and dedicated to spreading truth, squashing lies, maintaining order, and promoting national unity based on a shared truth. Unfortunately, our “mainstream” media does none of this, and in fact actively squashes truth, spreads lies, promotes disorder, and foments tribal resentments.
“Rulers have always understand that general discontent among the rabble is like dry underbrush. It only takes a spark and you have a forest fire. In the case of civil unrest, a simmering discontent in the community, or among a sub-group, can quickly turn into a riot. The Rodney King riots in 1992 are a good example. The black underclass had developed a deep hatred of the cops, so when the cops were acquitted, that was the spark that set off the ghetto riot.”
The underlying and building tensions are there in America.
Things can get out of control quickly. Seemingly normal one day, chaos the next. Most people won’t see it coming.
“Whether it is the seemingly incoherent and ad hoc violence of a bar fight or sports melee, or a person or group committing social violence, the actors arise from predictable conditions and act quite rationally. There is a degree of predictability to their actions, if you’re willing to notice. It’s why bouncers in bars keep an eye on the males competing with one another for females. It’s why sports referees look for guys getting agitated and send them off the field to cool down and get their head back in the game.
In modern America, there does not seem to be anyone in charge willing to play the role of bouncer or referee. Instead, the people in charge are like the guy with the stick in old-time bare knuckle fights. They are trying to get the combatants to go at one another, rather than keep them under control. The deployment, tolerance and protection of Antifa, for example, is a deliberate provocation. The people in charge not only hope these idiots hurt someone, they hope white men will defend themselves so they can be railroaded by the courts.”
This is the key point: our media is not playing the bouncer role. Our media is too partisan to do so.
“In a multi-racial society, where the old majority is being swamped by former minorities and those former minorities are told they must hate the old majority. The atmosphere is nothing but kindling. A prudent ruling class would be acting as firemen, hunting down anything that looks like a spark, over- reacting if necessarily, in order to prevent a blaze they may not be able to control.”
What’s funny is our media has referred to itself as firefighters running toward the danger and saving us all. But the job of a firefighter first and foremost is to put out the fire.
And it’s also never the case that the firefighters set the blaze themselves the way our media largely has.
But the main point here is that tensions are running very high in America. Anyone knows that when tensions are running high between two guys, the slightest thing could set them off and start a fight.
Right now, the two sides in America loathe each other more than ever. There is no trust between the two sides; no assumption that the other side is operating in good faith. We’ve largely given up on trying to overcome our differences and come together as a nation. Most of us don’t even want to.
Quite simply we’ve given up on one another. We have come to terms with the fact that we will never get along. This is a major turning point in our history.
It feels like not insignificant numbers on both sides are itching for a fight. They want the violence.
Worse, our national media has not only totally abdicated its responsibility to debunk lies, and maintain order like a “bouncer” would at a nightclub, it is actively and deliberately spreading lies and propaganda to provoke people into resentment, hysteria and violence.
On everything from supposed police racism to “toxic masculinity” to Trump being a fascist dictator, our media is fabricating a narrative of a nation that brutalizes and oppresses women and minorities
And, wouldn’t you know it, many women and minorities (and their wannabe saviors, aka white liberals) believe the lies, and are acting accordingly.
The media has millions of people living in an alternate reality. This will not end well.
For the first time in my life I really do believe this country is in trouble. I genuinely afraid of what the future holds. Societal breakdown is a real possibility.
